LYRASIS 2nd Friday Series: My Time is Worth More Than a Dime: Strategies for Saving Our Most Precious Resource (Live Online)

The modern librarian’s priorities are constantly shifting and changing. We are all subject to last minute instruction sessions, kooky projects, and the dreaded “other duties as assigned.”
LYRASIS' own Russell Palmer has taken the time to explore--through informal research, library and management literature, and observation-- time management in the librarian's world. In this 2nd Friday Series presentation, he will share some of our biggest time stealers/time wasters along with some strategies that can help. This will be followed by a large group discussion, during which colleagues will have an opportunity to share their ideas for better managing time.
