2nd Friday Series - The Other Nutshell: Introduction to RDA for Serials (Live Online)

Beth Thornton, Head of Serials Cataloging at the University of Georgia, will provide an overview of the essentials of RDA (Resource Description and Access) as it applies to serials.

During this session, Beth will highlight some differences in cataloging practice RDA will introduce in the serials cataloging environment.

It will be of benefit to people who read and use serial records, such as acquisitions staff, and people at smaller libraries who copy catalog serials.

Learning Outcomes:
Understand introductory RDA instructions for serials Identify the differences between an RDA serial record and a current, AACR2 serial record
